Karl-Gottfried Nordmann - Knights Cross with Oak Leaves

Serving initially in the Polish campaign with JG77, Nordmann flew in the Battle of France and Britain scoring 6 victories. Joining JG51 in the East he flew with Beerenbrock as his wingman and started to score heavily receiving the knights Cross in August 1941. Was appointed Kommodore of JG51 in 1942 before being severely wounded in a crash-landing. Total Victories 78.
