GeneralFeldmarschall Erhard Milch
Milch commanded Luftflotte 5 during the Norwegian Campaign but, shortly afterwards, was appointed Air Inspector General in charge of aircraft development and production. He later worked alongside Albert Speer but the lack of strategic planning was to have dire consequences for the Luftwaffe - a lack of a long-range strategic bomber being one.
